How to play

At the beginning of a game, the dealer hands out two cards each to all players, with the position of the dealer rotating clockwise to the next active player after every hand. The player sitting to the left of the dealer is in action.

Both the small blind and big blind are required to make forced bets and are typically the only players to put money in the pot before the cards are dealt. Every player is then dealt two cards/hole cards face do.

The next player will also have similar options to call fold or raise. Once every player has contributed the same amount of money. The chips have moved to the middle of the table.

And the second round. The flop round begins in the second round three community cards are dealt face-up on the poker table.

Once the hold cards are dealt with, the first round begins with the player sitting to the left of the dealer in action.

The player to the left of the big blind starts the first four rounds of betting once the first two cards are dealt.

After the first betting round comes the flop, the three community cards are face-up on the table, so that each player remaining in the hand has the option to check, bet or raise, call or fold.

When the second round is finished, another community card is revealed in the ‘turn.’

The third round of betting starts with the first remaining player sitting to the left of the dealer. It is played clockwise, as with the earlier rounds. When the third round is over, another community card is revealed in the ‘river.’

The fourth betting round is played in the same way as the second and third betting rounds. After the four rounds of betting, the player(s) remaining have to show their cards in the showdown.
